50 Ways to Take a Break

I saw this whilst I was Googling and thought it was real cool!

What else would you add to this?

Do YOU fear being wrong?

Are YOU living YOUR Creative Life?

Or do you fear being wrong?

Fear nada - as you're not alone - EVERYONE who is human has been through this - and even yours truly!

And you know what? I still sometimes go through this!

Actually I've been questioning myself a lot lately about this 'fear of being wrong' and 'what will people think' in one of my businesses.

I'm working on it and know it's a personal issue which i need to overcome.

Self-therapy is good.

And you know what, ultimately it is between you and God only - and the people we fear will laugh and judge us - they also have their own insecurities too.

So, as Nike says, Just Do It!

I will.

Will You? :)

Take Rest and Come Back Fresh!

The thing with us creative souls is that our brain never rests - like ever!

Even in our sleep we are planning and scheming and ideas are coming to us from all dimensions and directions.

This can be extremely tiring and can catch up with us.

You may experience insomnia, tiredness during the day, lack of appetite, mood swings, body pains etc.

Take time out and just rest!

Make a conscious decision to take a break and just do nothing - even if that is for one day only - trust me, it'll work wonders for your productivity and you'll come back with more and fresh ideas.

I'm going to do more of this in 2014 as I really need it.

I hope you do to - take rest and come back fresh! :)

Creative Genius YOU: Challenge Tip 12

Let's Get Launching!

You know what, I can't believe we are in Challenge Tip 12 already!

Our 12 weeks - 3 months have just flown bye!

I feel sad - yet happy that we are here at launch week.

This Challenge course started spontaneously - as do most my ventures.

My aim was to help newbies to unleash their creative juices and make them more confident to live a more creative life in 2014.

I honestly and truly hope you have enjoyed the exercises each week and are now at the stage to launch your masterpiece-in-the-making service or product.

If you're a veteran creative soul then I also hope you had a few new things to learn.

Teachers are always students first and will always be students and learning.

So let's get to it! :)

Challenge Tip 12

Let's Get Launching!

You are now ready to launch your masterpiece service or product.

You need to be brave and courageous!

You are brave and courageous!

You may have a billion questions and thoughts running riots in your head right now - but listen, YOU deserve THIS as you have worked hard and shown up every week to the Academy for your new lesson - your new weekly challenge.

You have stepped out of your comfort zone and believed in yourself and tried some new and crazy stuff - and you've enjoyed it and learnt lots.

It may seem daunting and scary - don't worry as that is completely natural and we all feel it - yes me too - but you've done the hard work.

Get your service and product out there now and focus on marketing and advertising it.

Use both online and offline methods to market it.

Use all the free social media available.

Let your random souls know you have launched (the same random souls who helped and gave you feedback).

Let them help you spread the word.

It may be slow or it may make you an overnight superstar - anything is possible.

The key is to stay in faith and continue to believe.

This is the first step in many in your creative missions to help you live a more creative life now.

I can feel your excitement - it's contagious! :D

Go ahead now and launch your masterpiece product and service and keep me in the loop and let me know how it goes for you!

I want to thank you for turning up each week to the Academy and taking on the challenge.

I have absolutely loved it and have learnt lots too!

Who knows what my spontaneousness brings next to the Academy - but keep it locked here and let all your friends know!

Go launch it now and best wishes! :)

Creative Genius YOU: Challenge Tip 11

Let's Get Testing, Evaluating, Reviewing!

This is our final week for testing, evaluating and reviewing.

I hope you're looking forward to releasing your product or service to the world! :)

I also hope that each week has provided you with new ideas and ways to be creative.

One of the keys to being more creative is to keep an open mind - this allows us to absorb different things that happen during the day and a chance to see it through different lens.

You could also ask yourself questions such as; 'What if it was this way?' or 'What if it was this colour or shape?' And see the awesome answers you get!

Be free to explore - that's another key and the third key is that there's never a wrong answer.

So go ahead and explore and let your creative juices flow!

Challenge Tip 11

Let's Get Testing, Evaluating and Reviewing!

This is your second and final phase for testing, evaluating and reviewing.

It is not limited to two processes only - we're doing it like this because of the nature of this Challenge and keeping in mind that it is for 12 weeks only.

This process can repeat many times depending on the project you're working on.

So from the previous process you would have made the necessary changes, edits, deletions, additions etc.

Now this week put your product or service masterpiece-in-the-making to the public test again.

Remember those random souls that you asked last time and got feedback from?

Yup, go to them again - or now you may even be more confident to ask your loved ones.

Go go, be brave! :)

If there any more additions or deletions - again depending on what you're working on - then go ahead and make those changes this week.

An example from my eBook project would be the proofreading and style - that would be my testing, evaluating and reviewing.

So have a look at where things need to be added or deleted and go work on them this week and then we'll be ready to launch your masterpiece-in-the-making next week.

Also remember to journal your test results, the evaluations and the review.

This will help you in your future projects as you'll have a reference point to look back to when you need help.

Have fun and remember to smile - this is all a learning process and all feedback is positive feedback - we will always be learning and everyone sees things from their own perspective.

Remember, it's all good!

Now go have an awesome week making the final changes and be ready for your BIG DAY! :)
