What's Your Creative Read?

It's BOOK TIME! Yay!

OK, so i love reading and i'm sure you do too - you're reading this? :D

So, anways, have you ever read books on creativity?

There's two books i will recommend - next week and after - and why i think they are awesome and in fact i don't even think they make it on people's top lists - but they will when i share.

I was Googling - as i do - and came across this BuzzFeed quicky and i'm sharing with you.

I'm going to set a Goodreads (I'm on there too - join me) challenge for 2015 and add some of the books on this list.

Click here 37 Books Every Creative Person Should Be Reading and comment below and tell me which ones you have read and which you recommend.

Unleash Your Creative Inner Child

The holiday season is coming up - so it's an awesome opportunity to go all out and unleash your creative inner child!

So i get many people say to me that they are not creative.

I believe creativity is defined differently for all of us and is not limited to just drawing, painting, poetry, knitting etc.

It can come in many ways.

As as child we were all creative.

I appreciate that everyone's childhood was different and some got to play more than others and some were given the opportunity to nurture their imagination more than others.

However, if play was not encouraged in your childhood days then there was still some creativity going on - you were plotting and planning an escape plan in your imagination!

Now you have grown up and can make your own decisions - you're free to do that without any restrictions.

Don't limit yourself now by your past because you are not your past you are you today - now.

Give yourself permission to revisit your imagination and create fun stuff for yourself.

This upcoming holiday season you will be around young souls and a lot of colour.

Let yourself go a little because if you give yourself permission to do so you will also give someone else permission to do so also (especially those who look down on you and laugh at you - really they want to unleash their inner creative child too!).

So, this is your holiday season challenge.

Up for it? :)
